The National Institute on Aging seeks applications from applicant
organizations that propose to develop and pilot test innovative interventions
to remediate age-related cognitive decline. These pilot tests are not expected
to fulfill criteria for full-scale clinical trials but should help establish
the feasibility and likely effect sizes of potential interventions. The
interventions developed should be amenable for testing in a randomized clinical

The Administration on Aging offers disaster assistance grants for
state units on aging and Tribal organizations in national disaster areas
declared by the president. Grants are to provide disaster reimbursement and
assistance funds to those state units on aging and tribal organizations who are
currently receiving a grant under Title VI of the Older Americans Act, as
amended. AoA has $500,000 available for five grants ranging from $20,000 to
